Meeting called to order at 7:00 by Sherri.

Welcome guests.  No guests.  Goodbye to Ann D.  She is moving to Redmond!

Mid-Valley Quilt show in Rickreal:  today – Saturday at Polk County Fairgrounds.  Lots of quilts and vendors.
Forms and information for future quilt shows on back tables.
Sign up for set up and take down for meetings on back table.

Please let Sheri know if there is a guild member who is ill, death in the family, etc and the Guild will send out an appropriate card.

Committee Reports:

Challenge:  Judy says there are still packets are available and additional ties to look through to add to your packet.

Program:  May meeting features Jill Monley, from Bend, talking about her quilts and undulating flying geese technique.  There is a workshop the day after the Guild meeting to learn the technique.  Contact Harriet if you are interested; currently 16 signed up.

Raffle:  needs shifts filled for Safari that starts tomorrow; runs for two weekends.  Shifts are at JLC.  Contact Jo C. if you can fill a spot.

Library:  new modern quilt books, books recommended by tonight’s speaker and a book on wrapped baskets that there have been multiple requests are all back on the library cart.

Round Robin:  Monday is the next meeting.  Follow our progress on the guild blog.

Service:  this month silent auction benefits Service committee. 

Sisters Quilt Show:  Marcia discussed taking quilts over to the Pharmacy in Sisters.  You can sell your quilts by donating 10% of your proceeds – so price accordingly.  Raffle quilt is displayed and we need volunteers to sell raffle tickets.   If you are sending a quilt that is a repeat, make sure you fill out a new form.  We usually sell between $2-3K in quilts.  A great way to market your quilts! 

Hospitality:  Peggy C (notepad and fabric); Joan H. (notepad and fabric). Sharon H (gift certificate).

BOM:  18 blocks submitted this month.  Next month is a barn block.  Pattern on the website.  Linda B. won the blocks.
